I AM A NOOB to SUBARU so bare with me......
Ok just got an 02 WRX shell.. It did come with a JDM EG207 I was told.. Its not an STi motor just trying to figure out what model/version it is.. The motor was built in 99 as I found out by looking under the oil cap.. Not sure if thats the exact way to find out the year it was made.. I am wondering what I will have to do to put it into the WRX I have done some research but kind of hard to find much out because every time I do a 207 search its all sti.. But what I have find out I will need to change the intake, harness and coil packs to all usdm intake , harness and individual coil packs.. Is this close to all I have to change? If not any info would help.. If there is already a thread with this info please let me know .. Thanks

If it's not the STI engine it is an EJ205.
Find the VIN number on the engine and then you can find out all the information about it. What intake and wiring harness you use is dependent on what you are going to do with the car and where it needs to be registered/ inspected. |
