Default Huge Dents in Perrin Top Mount WTF?

Went in to the shop to check on my clutch replacement and saw my Perrin top mount on the floor with this: (view of bottom)

I looked under the hood for what this might have been hitting but didn't see anything. Any ideas out there?? Looks a little crispy too. Any ways to avoid this when we put it back in? Is it safe?

that would be your slave cylinder smashing into the bottom. this comes from installs where folks dont check to see fitment then complain that perrin makes a crappy tmic. you need to clock the coldside of your turbo some. do a search.
