Default Reliable mechanics in the chico area?

I need to get my air conditioning serviced. It's seized or something and has a big leak. I've got a 3rd party warranty on my car, but I need to find a place that will do a decent job of making sure it works right and not just try and tell me it works fine after it gets recharged (cause we've tried that). Anyone have any suggestions?

Can give Mike a call at Engines Express. He's up in Paradise and has done quality work on my STi. Best of luck with your car

I'm bumping this thread because I was just about to create a new one, but saw this when I searched.

Anyways, I just bought on 01 RS a few weeks ago and I'd like some recommendations for some respected mechanics around Chico. Preferably a place that has a lot of experience with Subarus. Right now I just need a basic tune/check up just to make sure the car is running like it's supposed to. Eventually I'll start doing most small work myself, but it would be nice to have somewhere to go if I ever need some more difficult work done.
