Bingo.

I remember going to see the second one (after reading the book) and going "Da fuq?"

As long as the fourth one has genetically engineered dinosaur super soliders, it'll be just fine.

I think it would be cool if they tried again at making the theme park like the first one. Except the dinosaurs get smart, organize, take over the park and turn the nuclear power plant into a dirty bomb and threaten the world. Then everyone wakes up and turns out they were just dreaming... And then a raptor comes out of nowhere, boom Oscar.

I was with you up until the dino terrorist part. I was hoping you were going to go for the "undercut Disney and Six Flags prices while including whiskey and hookers at no extra charge" angle

Yes, but would they be dinosaur hookers? I'd love me some female dilophosaurus.

I'm not sure if dinosaur hookers would go over too well, but who knows.

http://mashable.com/2013/09/12/jurassic-world/

Quote:
The 1993 flick that terrorized a generation will continue its legacy in a fourth installment: Jurassic World.

If all goes according to plan, Jurassic Park fans can watch the next chapter of the epic series when it hits screens on June 12, 2015, in glorious 3D. Director Colin Trevorrow will team up with Steven Spielberg, who will act as producer. Universal tweeted the news along with a photo of the classic logo in silver and blue with the new title.

Fans got their hopes up earlier this year when the studio announced a release date of June 2014. That date was changed to allow more time to create the epic dino flick, which means a longer wait for fans.

Universal reportedly wanted to make sure the movie got enough time to come to full fruition: The Hollywood Reporter previously shared a statement in which Universal explained the date change as an effort to ensure the "best possible version" of the new movie.

But mystery remains about the actual premise of the newest version. Will dinosaurs now roam the entire world, or just the island the original park was on? And another big question: this time, will the humans will learn to stay away from them?

One little clue for hopeful fans: a photo that Trevorrow tweeted back in May, of Isla Nublar. That's the place where it all began.

Here's hoping that the fourth movie will hold on to some of the magic of the original. This might be the 21st century, but the idea of prehistoric dinosaurs roaming the earth still sounds really cool.
It's going to be the best movie ever. Better than Highlander!

Oof. I watched the original and the horrible Lost World a few weeks ago. I saw the 3rd one once years ago. I'm not watching it go further down the toilet and still haven't seen the 4th Indiana Jones. NEVER!!!

Seeing Shia swing through the trees like Tarzan, alongside monkeys

It's a life changing spectacle.

I wonder if they'll still be filming when I'm in Kauai in September. Might have to take a trip to Kipu Ranch and have a looksee.

I like the idea of the plot though. It'll be interesting to see the park fully functional.

I was 18-19 when the first one came out. It was amazing to me...seemed so real.

The 2nd and 3rd were alright.

I'll wait to pirate download the 4th.

More accurate was the report's assessment that the movie's antagonist would be a genetically modified super-dinosaur. "We were hoping audiences could discover this on their own," the director says, "but yes, there will be one new dinosaur created by the park's geneticists."
Anyone else remember when dinosaurs were "Holy ****!" enough?

Quote:
To reassure sticklers for believability in a movie about resurrected dinosaurs, Trevorrow confirms the new beast won't deviate too far from the dinosaur template. "It doesn't have a snake's head or octopus tentacles," he says, but it was created to "fulfill a corporate mandate." Jurassic World's money men wanted "something bigger, louder, with more teeth."
Yeah, **** you. I'm out.

If the make the 4th like they did the first it will be awesome, otherwise they are just going to make the 3rd movie look better than it and that one was garbage.

i loved the first JP saw it at least 6+ times in theatre but i was also 13 at the time when movie ideas weren't pulled out of a hat and spit back out as the same thing only with different set's/actors

i haven't watched a movie in theatre in years at this point because they all seem lackluster with the same idea/concept being rehashed over and over again

Just finished reading the novel (I read it as a kid but dont remember much)

Despite JP being one of my favourite films, I would have loved to have seen the novel made into a film, as opposed to just very loosely inspiring the concept.

The book was fantastic.

I read the book when I was a kid, too. I don't remember a whole lot other than them hiding behind a waterfall with the t-rex trying to get them and some underground bunker that the raptors turned into their nest. Those two scenes alone would have been awesome.

The whole pterodactyl part should have been in the movie, although i think they tried to shoehorn it into the 2nd or 3rd. But in the book that part had me on the edge of my seat.
