I took the easy toure here, so its easily reversible.

Just got four cans of plastidip and some rubbing alcohol.

Cleaned each wheel with rubbing alcohol, then did light coats, followed by heavy coats. About a can per wheel. Nice and thick in the end and easily can peel it off. But all black looks so much better than the stock two tone crap. Ill have to ditch these next winter anyway because they wont clear my soon to come brakes.

guys, i'm doing the 48hrs of tristate annual charity drive. this year we are going north to VT sports car, Phoenix racing (home of subaru road racing team), and a few other spots.

all of the proceeds go DIRECTLY to the american cancer society, not liek some shows where the proceeds pay for expenses and the overflow goes to charity, everythign donated here goes right ot charity and we pay all expenses ourselves.

Awesome, beautiful machine. I'm considering one as a second car (either that or a WRX), and to do similar mods to yours over time. I see you purchased it at Hudson Subaru: not to hijack the thread, but that's my local dealer (I live in the neighborhood, off Rt.440) and am curious how was their pricing and overall experience. Their service department has always been pretty good - Greg Sanchez is a top guy.

I live right by 440/287 but hudson has treated me nice. Well sales has, ask for chito, say Ivan says hello.

Wish I could say the same about service. But I wont get into those details

got new winter rims, so that i dont have to worry about clearing brembo's next season. 17x7.5 +35

Well, that's hardly the point of his mods, is it? Nowhere on the thread do I recall Jive stating he was looking for more power. And if he was, I'm sure that's exactly what we'd be seeing here.

my power mods will be ALL na for a long time. so header/pulleys/tune. i'm also debating swapping the final drive to a 4.55 but thats a bit pricey at the moment.

this car really doesn't need gobs of power, right now in stock form i'm having a fun time putting other people to shame, granted its all in the corners

I was just mentioning it because its a brz thread...has nothing to do with jive

I think this is his 6 psi 93 octane graph...he didn't gain much going from 6 to 10psi because they had to retard the timing a lot

I got a ride in RCE's car on Saturday. That 4.55x final drive is NICE. Granted you'll be cruising at stupid high RPMs by 80MPH...but it's real nice; you get through that torque valley SO much quicker.

Personally waiting for cams here.

he just got it tuned this weekend and he wasn't really driving it before, so too soon to tell. I'm pretty sure he has a stock clutch

Yeah the car had gusto to it...but it didn't help that I got a ride in a 310whp turbocharged FR-S right before. Even so, the RCE car has a tune and full exhaust, so that's already quite a bit different from my car.
