I prefer to do so in my lifted F150. Every time my WRX went off pavement some **** got broken on the body.

There should be plenty of snow up above Snoqualmie. Go past the ski areas to the Hyak exit. The little road that runs paralel to I-90 will take you up in the hills and you'll surely find snow. There should only be 4-6 inches at the highest spots, it should be fairly fresh and not crunchy frozen.

I've been watching the reports, keeping track.

It's two totally different kinds of fun. My lifted Toy is all locked and SUPER capable, but slow and boring unless the snow is really deep. But my imp with its snow tires on is ONE HELL of a blast to drive.

Then again, I've taken my imprezas into some pretty deep stuff and not broken them. . .

I went to Snoqualmie on Monday and there was a fair amount of snow. Wet and heavy snow mostly. Got stuck twice on denny creek road. Exit 63 is another good road to drive. Did it last year, but the DWS's are a bit too worn this year. Time for snow tires

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we should get a few people together and go scout a spot or 3.

Lookin to go for a cruise friday night or saturday just for the fun of it. Im planning on headin down hwy 9 to darrington, then north up 530 then west on 20. I would like to find a spot somwhere along the route that might have some snow and could play around a bit. Anybody that would like to join in I would be cool with that. Also if anybody knows of any possible spots along the route that could be fun, post it up.

I know of some exhilarating places to drive in the snow. The exhilarating part being if you lose it you go bye bye down a cliff.
