Default Need help soon . AP not responding

So recently I let my friend use my AP from my 2012 WRX on his 05 to read his AFRs and a week later I grabbed it and went to plug it into my obd2 and it doesn't turn on ? Il was it a bad ideas to do , it worked, we could read knock and AFR learning, etc. but now it won't turn on in my car . Need some help soon trading my car in in about 2 moths so I want to put all my stock stuff back on and retune the stock map back to the car.

Again, no it didn't. For one, the SUB-003 isn't compatible with your friends 16-bit ECU. Especially when its married to your '12.

The AccessPORT will not prevent you from viewing live data and DTCs on a completely different Subaru, but if that car also doesn't have an AccessPORT installed, some of the parameters that you viewed would not be correct. So, it wasn't designed specifically for that functionality, but it will work. However, this will not cause any issue when going to use it again on your car, so that is something completely unrelated. I would try hooking it up to your computer and see if it powers on. Also check to make sure the OBD cable is secure to the AccessPORT and car and make sure that none of the pins got bent on OBD cable end or AccessPORT end. If you still have problems, you can give our customer service reps a call: 866-922-3059
