Default Question for Subaru owners in Chico

Hey, I just bought on 01 RS a few weeks ago and I'd like some recommendations for some respected mechanics around Chico. Preferably a place that has a lot of experience with Subarus. Right now I just need a basic tune/check up just to make sure the car is running like it's supposed to. Eventually I'll start doing most small work myself, but it would be nice to have somewhere to go if I ever need some more difficult work done.
Thanks for reading.

Subaru Stars Are there ANY Good Subie shops around Chico?

I didn't get an answer to the same question I posted either. Did you ever find a shop you were happy with?

Thumbs up Finally - a good Subaru shop in Butte County?

After much searching and talking to another shop in town that specializes in Japanese autos - THEY are who recommended Engines Express in Paradise, CA - which is a Subaru specialty shop that after searching the web seems to have all positive reviews.

They will be starting on my clutch on Tuesday and promise to have it done the same day (impressive if true & if well done)
at $550 for the install - which is a bit higher than another general shop in town quoted, but I figured I would go with the folks who KNOW Subies and not somebody who might work on one every once and a while.

I will speak with them more then and get an idea as to their background and what they do vis-a-vis performance work, see how the clutch install goes, and then will post more.

Their Info:
Engines Express
6160 Center St, Paradise, CA 95969
