I've been gearing up for the summer and cruise nights to get my Legacy looking good and now I've gotten to the point where I want to start throwing engine mods into it. My first few things will end up being a Weapon R intake probably and a new exhaust. The problem is I don't know what type of exhaust to throw in it, I thought about starting with unequal headers and working my way back but I'm not 100% certain. Any and all suggestions are welcomed and if someone has done it to their's please inform me on how much you like it, how much it was, and if you could send a link to an exhaust clip, please do.
Thank you everyone _______________________ 2001 Subaru Legacy L, 98K, 17 inch Motegi Rims wrapped in Sumitomo, 2 10" Kenwood Subs in custom box with 2300 Watt Pyle Academy amp, JL wiring hooked to Kenwood stero and Harman Kardon speakers and tweeters, 35% tint in front 25% rear sides and 5% in the back, cleared headlights and tinted tails, custom painted black grille

Hey man, You got your car well started out already. I personally have to say, depends how you want the car to sound. I got mine done locally at a small shop, and they did a great job.

There isn't much available for the BE. I believe stromung has an exhaust. I had a dual tip on my TS and loved it. The intake will net you nothing but will increase sound significantly. Same with the exhaust. If you want some power, pick up a set of equal length headers (we aren't talking a ton of power, but better than the rest of the exhaust/intake mods combined). I don't know if there are any header fitment issues between the normal impreza N/A headers and the BE. You might be better off at a local exhaust shop with the limited availability of parts.
