Default 25psi 2011 wrx. NEED ADVICE

I recently bought a used 2011 wrx. It has a Perrin CAI, Ultimate performance exhaust from the downpipe to the tips. Not sure of the brand of the downpipe.. It also has a Aem mechanical boost gauge and a digital wideband.

I am new to Subaru cars and I have been doing lots of research about mods and do's and dont's. The car runs really well, super fast and the wideband reads within normal parameters under boost and while cruising.

My question is, how do I know what tune my car is running? Id like to reduce the boost from 25psi to maybe 16lbs for daily driving and reduce the wear on the engine. Can a boost controller do this? Should I change the intake to Aem/cobb and use the shelf maps with the Cobb AP?

Feedback would be greatly appreciated
