What aftermarket Nav do you suggest?

I have a 09 2.5i premium with stock everything right now.

I wanted to upgrade the radio first as I read that the stock premium speakers are not that bad.

I'm not asking for the best, I just want some suggestion based on your experience with nav systems. I'm looking around $1000, but I'm hoping to stick to bestbuy because I have a store card and tons of point which will help with the cost.

I've had my eye on a few:
Alpine INE-S920HD. I like alpine radios
Kenwoods. They use Garmin as there GPS which are my fav, not really a fan of there radios.
Pioneer SPH-DA100. I like the cost, but i here is buggy and depended on the phone for all apps. I do like the look of this unit, very simple.

wow $1000 should get you a VERY nice NAV HU lol. I have one suggestion that might be useful. Does bestbuy sell gift cards? If they do you should see if they offer Amazon gc. That way you will have more option.

Btw Alpine s920HD doesn't use Garmin, just a fyi...

I dont believe best buy sales gift cards to tother stores and yes, i know alpine doesn't us Garmin.

Maybe I should lower my budget, I was hoping to save some for speakers and 4ch amp if needed.

Get one of the Pioneer NAV unit. Pioneer is pretty popular on this forum and you can get a decent one for around $500. Then you'll have money for speakers and amp.

I got the pioneer x940bt and I love it...tells me real time traffic data which comes in handy

Depending on the type of credit card you have through best buy, you might be able to use it at other stores and still get the same financing. My gf has one and she uses it to buy stuff at other stores all the time just like a regular credit card. Good luck finding a NAV unit.
