I have the RCE blacks and I feel they are of very good quality. Ride is smooth enough. Rear sits perfect but the front is still pretty high. That's the only complaint I have.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The suspension is designed (hypothetically) to give 8" of travel from to "reaching to the ground" articulation to its "bottomed out" limit. The design isn't going to be that the normal actuating range (small bumps and even medium bumps) is on the last 1.5" of its range wasting its 6.5" at the top. This is why rce and other suspension guru's never drop or slam a car on oem struts and almost always move to dampeners that work within its normal ranges at a lower ride height (bilstein and Koni). This of course doesn't get into the geometry of the suspension. This is of course, if my lecture from Myles and IAG was understood correctly. I've heard lots of love hate in these. I didn't like the bc on my lgt, love them on my Sti. I will eventually upgrade to a stiffer system once I get a dd. |

Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but I felt a lot more confidence during turn in and feel like I have better sense of where my nose is during a turn after installing springs.

So I have an 11 hatch and both of my mirrors have play (movement back and forth) in them. I noticed it when I was wot and went to shift out of the corner of my eye it moved back, so after parking I checked and they both have wiggle room when opened and locked. I had never noticed it before and am curious if anyone else has this or if I just never noticed until recently.

Never noticed that with my 11 hatch. Any time I've folded them in theyve always firmly clicked in and out of place

I'd try to get it covered under warranty if possible.

does anyone know if installing the rear strake kit (the side skirt) on the 2.0i base model is possible? I know it's only for the sports model but I'm wondering if it'll fit on the base

So I'm sure everyone knows (whether you admit it or not) but our cars rattle pretty bad. Has anyone done anything to try and fix it? Im thinking of dynamat on the doors to start. Has anyone tried it and if do does it help?

Seriously..especially in the cold. I have my bro's 03 vibe with 225k on the body and it seriously rattles less than my 21k wrx. It starts easier in the cold too.

Start by opening your interior front door panels and ripping out the white plastic boxes.

Dynamat doesn't help with the doors except to make your speakers sound better. I found that rear rattles on the rear window deck is fixed by some felt tape where it rubs on the leather seats. Next I am going to try to pad between the rear window deck and the cheap metal underneath.

I think you need to open it in your phone's browser. There is an option in the settings if you are using the android app

Yeah, searching on the phone is stupid, that's why I didn't post a link for you. Just google it, I think there's a walk through on iwsti or 3gwrx.

Ok finally bought an access port. Question is I bought it brand new and was wondering if I need to download a more current map or if the most current will be loaded and how do you tell? I'm in California so I get the **** gas maps. Also on cobbs website and the have 3 different maps - low waste gate, high waste gate, and normal waste gate. How do I know which one?
http://www.cobbtuning.com/AccessPORT...2-Stock-Intake Thanks for the help |

Run the normal one first. Switch it to either high or low depending on whether you are hitting target boost or not. any info you need about the ap should be easily found online. Cobb even has YouTube videos.
