Boston area garage

Hi people.

My 02 WRX (manual, stock except Stage 1 clutch) experienced a "major engine failure" yesterday and I need a garage in the Boston area to help me figure out what is wrong and whether to fix it or replace it or part it. The garage I have it at in Wakefield does not feel comfortable doing this (it is at a tech school). Any places you would recommend?

why yes it is. Doug has it. I am taking the intro to mechanics class there with him. Do you know it?

Do a search in the NESIC forum for "Shop" and you'll find a bunch. Normally, I'd say DSG, but...

Haha, no, just figured that's where it was based of what you said. I graduated from there in 02' (welding/fab). My fiancée's cousin is Mr.B from the Auto Tech shop.(i think he still works there).

Personally, I got to Vinnie's Autosport in Cambridge for most of my stuff, but this is probably above what he's looking to get into.
