Hey, I can see why you asked this after rereading my post from last night. I was "trying" to say your belt driven pulleys, such as alternater bearing, tensioners, power steering shaft (behind the pulley). My bad. I bet you have a dry belt tensioner (I have had many of those go bad on many cars). The lube will quiet it up for a while, but you will eventually need to replace it. Do it methodically while the car is running (be carefull). It will quite right up when you hit that dry area (if this indeed your issue). Do one bearing/shaft at a time so you can pin-point the bad bearing.
Sorry for the post Blitzkreig, but man it kills me seeing everyone expecting the worst. It may be as bad as some of the others on here have been trying to say, but it always makes sense to rule out the obvious. These cars are not made out of glass, even though reading through these threads may suggest otherwise!
