Andrew's WRX = transmission issues got rid of for FR-S
Brad's STi = Worlds worst motor... ever
Bob's STI = Self inflicted transmission issues, possible bad motor
Gomes' WRX = Totalled by drunk driver

damn us newbies have no luck... oh and we've been in the club actively for about a year now... guess we're not newbies

my tC is still ticking, you guys need a ride :-P

If you want a turbo version wait for BRZ STi (maybe) or go aftermarket

A hybrid GT-86 would be cool, electric powertrains have soooo much torque, and none of the lag times of turbo's or power bands.

That's why I drive a bugeye...cuz ya know, my motor didn't pop and I haven't been through multiple transmissions.

I had to share this... I was at the New England Auto show on Sat. and while chatting with the Lexus guy standing next to a bright red LFA, someone approached him and asked "so this is front wheel drive right?"...

300hp is tasteless? What a bunch of pansies. I've been in 1000hp cars to which I've though, it's fun... but more power couldn't hurt!

I'm still on my stock motor/trans/clutch. (91,767miles) I've never even changed the spark plugs, changed tranny and diff fluid once (and only like a year ago) still runs fine!

If it's as bad as I think, I'd probably hope it was totaled. They never drive the same. I wish someone would total mine so I can buy an STI.. I have like $12k of equity in mine.
