Id say its pretty durable. Ive had my wheels p-dipd for about 6 months and theres no scratches or peeling. But they are starting to get a hint of haziness from the brake dust. I havent tried cleaning them but i am planning on spraying them with a few fresh coats to even out some imperfections. My advice is to spray thick layers so its easy to peel off. I doubt Id be able to peel off mine easily right now.

Would it be cheaper to buy plastidip online and get it shipped to you?

Good luck.

Not sure if this has been covered, can plasti-dip go through high-powered car washes?

thanks for the reply man. I'm not sure about shipping it, because when i checked it out on ebay there wasn't a shipping option to Canada and i don't think dipyourcar chips to canada either, but i could be wrong.

So I plasti dipped my STi wheel I just got on. I need to reupholster my wheel but I'm happy with the center. I did three coats on top of a light coat at the beginning to test the pliability. Then I did my dash trim. They had been sticker bombed since jan 2010 so it's been nice to see something new. I know plasti dip works well bc I've had my wheels plasti dipped for about 8 months. Cleaned them yesterday. Looks good. Just like new.

Do you have more pics of the steering wheel? Preferably without a filter?
Looks pretty good

Can anyone point me in the direction of an "audi mask" on a 2011-2012 5-door?

I've been wondering about this, I want my headlight housings to be black. I'm just really skeptical of doing it, afraid i'll like the chrome look better. Has anybody ever dipped their housings? I'm only skeptical because of the heat the factory hid's put out.

idk man, maybe it's because i have a paint booth and body shop at my disposal but nothing looks better than a freshly sprayed polymer color with some nice clear. Even the water based color these days looks 100% better than any kind of plastidip but i see the poor man application. Just wish i didn't see just plain black EVERYWHERE

Create an imgur or photobucket account and upload your pics there. Then copy the "IMG" link and paste to the forum.

Wheels were gold, plastidipped them, then did 2 light coats of Carbon mist to give it a gunmetal finish. Turned out great.
