Brad's STi = Worlds worst motor... ever
Bob's STI = Self inflicted transmission issues, possible bad motor
Gomes' WRX = Totalled by drunk driver

Sad face! I humbly decline the offer as a friend has offered me his Toyota Tundra until I resolve my issues.

"the GT86 would never be spoiled by forced induction. According to Tada[Chief Engineer, TOYOTA], 300HP with the aid of a turbo would be tasteless in this day in age, and a turbo would be the loss of uniqueness to the 86.
That being said, there have been rumors and prototypes produced with a KERS system already attached. Take the TS030 Le Mans prototype as proof that Toyota has heavily invested in a hybrid system and always has one in the back of there minds."
From:
http://www.examiner.com/article/toyo...ever-see-turbo

If you want a turbo version wait for BRZ STi (maybe) or go aftermarket

A hybrid GT-86 would be cool, electric powertrains have soooo much torque, and none of the lag times of turbo's or power bands.
If you don't believe me watch this:

I had to share this... I was at the New England Auto show on Sat. and while chatting with the Lexus guy standing next to a bright red LFA, someone approached him and asked "so this is front wheel drive right?"...

That's because he was planning in driving it in the snow. Did he ask if the tires were all season and request the gas mileage too? Haha

300hp is tasteless? What a bunch of pansies. I've been in 1000hp cars to which I've though, it's fun... but more power couldn't hurt!

I'm still on my stock motor/trans/clutch. (91,767miles) I've never even changed the spark plugs, changed tranny and diff fluid once (and only like a year ago) still runs fine!

If it's as bad as I think, I'd probably hope it was totaled. They never drive the same. I wish someone would total mine so I can buy an STI.. I have like $12k of equity in mine.

Just show up wherever the Boss says. It doesn't hurt to offer to pay for dinner for the group. It probably won't help either everyone will still be rude and let everyone else know your personal business, just like Bmak did to me.
