Getting the harness prevents you from being GHETTO. I bet your cruise light doesnt light up does it. But the set does. I also bet you cant set your shift light and the gauge is funky when you turn it on and off. Besides, why would you modify a perfectly good cluster? What is you want to part the car out later or just sell it because you found a baller UK cluster? If it hums, or doesnt fit (which any 02-07 should with no prob) or blows fuses....make it so it is without being GHETTO!

The only question I have now is will I have to do any trimming to install the 2004 USDM STI Cluster in my 2002 bugeye? Some people say a wire needs to be snipped others say that it will plug and play with no issues....any confirmed info??
Put it in first and see. You shouldnt have to do anything!

Wouldnt have to do that if you got the cluster harness. You can find them all day long on ebay for 30ish!
I wrote a VERY detailed description on what are different
HERE. Peep posts #38 and #42!
