Default 2011 WRX --> 2008 STi front bumper swap

Is this possible? I'm liking the clean lines of the front bumer on the older STi a little more than the new style. would this be a direct swap?

I'd swap. I like the newer ones better.

I'm assuming it'd be a clean swap. I don't know if anyone else has tried it yet. If not, be the first and make a how-to!

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but did you end up swapping out? Did you have any issues with rewiring the fogs?

I scraped my 2011 WRX having too much fun in the snow. Only scraped pulling into a driveway. Go figure.
I always liked the front on 08-10 STI. Going with the Spec C kit if possible.

I'll post the before, after and issues when its finished.

So did this happen? I too am a fan of the 08-10 front end...and a raccoon ran in front of me...bumper isn't so pretty anymore.

I have done this but in an opposite way. I have a 2010 STi and I put a 2013 front bumper on. All you need is the bumper and grill as mentioned above.
