I bought an eBay lip, overall I'm thoroughly happy and impressed. I've had it on for a month now. It's already been through rain and snow. I sprayed it with bumper coating and it looks awesome. Many people think its the authentic lip. Great investment IMO. I usually hate eBay stuff, but this I can vouch for.

I bought mine from advan emotion on this site. I really don't have any complaints, and only cost about $70.

I thought I would put this picture up of when I had the Charge Speed Bottom Line Type 2 Carbon Lip on the car. I realize that the pictures don't should the lip all that great but they are the only pictures I have from when I had it on the car before it got destroyed and I took it off.
[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

The fit and finish of the Charge Speed Lip was great. It also fit really nice and installation was a breeze. I will point out that it wasn't a true carbon fiber unit. It had a Carbon finish on it but it was really just fiber glass. With that being said it didn't take very well to the abuse that a front lip gets.
Lets try and post pictures of the front lips that people have and where they got them and the cost so we can get a better idea of what decent lips are out there to buy. Also add any other comments that you have on the lip (installation, fitment, the way it was shipped and anything else you can think of).

You realize there's a HUGE thread already devoted to pics of front lips, right?

Actually vision.dynamix and tuzzio, you're both wrong. JNA lips are dual injected from both sides of the mold while ebay lips are single side injected. That's why JNA lips have great durability while Ebay lips split/ crack. Not sure where you got your information from, but it's inaccurate. I've had my JNA lip on the car for over a year/ multiple snow storms and it's holding up great.

You realize "ebay" doesn't sell lips and there are different vendors on there right?

I've had a JNA lip and a lip not sold by JNA ordered off of ebay side by side and they were exactly the same. Exactly.

I understand ebay doesn't sell lips, however people generalize the vendors on ebay as ebay in its entirety. That being said, they may appear to be visually identical, but the manufacturing process is different like stated in my previous comment. They look identical because they use the same mold.

Do you have actual proof that the manufacturing process is different? Because it isn't. They come from the same place.

Does anyone know the quality of the Bayson R Pdrive replica lip for the bugeye? As far as fitment quality and durability?

Not sure if anyone has tried this lip or not but I think this is the one I'll be getting in the spring. You may want to look into it, I think it looks great and its cheap-ish.

I like the idea of urethane because I know that I'm going rub the front end. It's unavoidable for me. Urethane should handle that abuse well. That and i with just a basic front lip I don't feel like a have to do it the body color. A more involved lip I would feel like I would need to. The Greddy lip does look good

Got a brand new bayson r lip for an 05 sti a few days ago, and I was actually pretty impressed for what I paid. They ship it in a huge box so the lip doesn't come to you folded, plus they even gave all the hardware! You cant beat that for 57 shipped.
