Default 2012 STi front bumper cover

I was forced to avoid a car that pulled out across two lanes of traffic in front of me at a 40 km/h speed difference on ice last night and ended up driving through a snowbank. Unfortunately for me, there was a solid ridge of ice under the snow... before my car had a chance to drive up it, the ice smashed a hole in my front bumper cover.

What's the best place to buy a replacement? Are the units I see at places like Subaru Genuine Parts for ~$200 painted or do I need to send them off to a body shop once I get the part?

If the $200 ones don't come painted, is there a place I can just buy one already finished to just put on?

Also - the broken part came off in basically once piece. Any DIY recommendations on re-attaching it to the rest of the bumper before I get a new one?

Best place to buy a replacement is the dealership. No, you will not get a painted bumper via mail order. Shipping is also expensive.

Check local salvage yards, you may be in luck and find one your color.

Post pictures of the damage if you want help.
