Do any of you have any contact info for kinugawa?
I placed my order 3 days ago and have gotten no tracking info and my emails have not been returned. Starting to get worried

I have been running the sl2 60-1 from last year January. I have a jdm 02 sti.

it is a bit laggy but once it gets going, it goes. I have not track the car since the upgrade but my stock turbo with 24psi on 90oct, i made 270whp and ran a 12.6 on the quarter mile.

with the 60-1 i made 340whp with 20lbs on 90oct. i am running a upgrade top mount intercooler.

I have made a few pull against my friend car with his dominator 2.5 xtr turbo on 20lbs. We are running neck to neck. His car engine was recently rebuilt with 2.5L block, darton sleeves and forge internals front mount intercooler. My car engine is still a stock 2L with 160,000km on it.

within the next few weeks i am looking to install a meth kit. Looking something closer to 400whp.

xthecursex, when i ordered mine i was worried too. I did not get any info on my order, but it was delivered in about 2 weeks to my USA address on a saturday.

Same here I emailed Bruce couple times, it took weeks which is pretty fast considering is shipped from Taiwan and made to order. Craftsmanship of this turbo starts with the amazing packaging: sealed bag with self-molding foam and dual wall carboard box, can't wait to finish my install.

Note: That plastic thing is a PVC dump tube mock-up with Supertrapp muffler.

Ok that gives me some piece of mind at least.

I have time to wait anyways as I am swapping an entire V7 drivetrain into my bugeye. I ordered the TD06H 20g. Hoping it will go well with the 207. Anyone else here running a kinugawa on a 207?

I haven't ran that turbo on a 207 but I would think it may be a little laggy.

someone has a TS 20g FS and Im pretty sure hes selling it cause on pump (91) it didnt make good enough power to offset the lag. Id go 16g-18g unless you plan on running e85 most of the time

Ok so it just showed up today randomly. It got here in about week which is really fast considering its from taiwan. Still didnt here from them but its here now so Im good lol. Like the others have said, It is packaged very well and the quality is just as good as any other turbo out there imo. I also got the upgraded waste gate actuator(I didnt order it either) which is nice.

Its the TD06H 20G 8cm. Im sure it will be a bit laggy but Hopeing that the 207 with avcs will help with that.

Just got my td06H 11 blade 20g chra from kinugawa and as usual its in a kamak tube.
Can't beat these for $399 shipped. Why rebuild when you can get a quality turbo cartidge with new wheels, bearings and bearing housing?

Yes, mitsubishi style turbos are very easy to rebuild. Anyone can do it.
Sure, PM me. I'd be glad to help if I can.

Read the chart in PS, put those numbers in a HP converter, added the 25 HP correction that Vlad pointed out for CRANK numbers, then multiplied by .8 for WHP numbers. Feel free to correct me if these are terrible and I'll gladly edit it.

EDIT: When looking at Vlad's numbers along side sense of nature, I feel like something I did undershot the turbo's by 3-5%. Any ideas?
Are these numbers assuming a stage 2 set up while dropping the K turbo in? or are those numbers what the turbo will be capable of producing?

What is capable. Stage 2 on any FI Subaru will not have the fuel or cooling required to achieve full potential on almost any upgraded turbo.

Cooling being the TMIC and not the Radiator right? I have replaced my TMIC with the FMS TMIC, but didnt plan to replace the injectors/fuel pump just yet.... am i going to have to do that to get one of these?

Also.... are all of these turbos going to fit the 08 WRX? Only reason i am asking is because i was told that the only turbos that are a drop in are the VF series 52 and 39.

Reason i ask is because the TD06H 20 G doesnt list it replacing the 52 or the 39, just the 40 and the 46.

http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/subarumy082008.aspx

Thanks for the help.

I asked that question a few years ago and was informed that they base it conservatively on their recommended boost of 1.5 bar or 22 psi. So like all turbos, it could be more or less...

I'm looking to dump my OG green for a td06 sl2 20g.

Hoping for 20# in the range of 3500-3700, 320whp on 93 on an aging 120k mileage shortblock. Sound reasonable?
