Hey!

I have new pads, fluid, SS lines, and a MC brace. The braking is decent at the track, but by no means a race setup. It will feel alright for a few laps, but still goes soft after that. They're not aggressive race pads though. That would help a bit more.

I've learned a lot about tranny's along the way! I think once I get the DCCD controller installed I'm really going to like it. Going from open front and rear diffs and a 50/50 viscous center diff to LSD front and rear with a DCCD will be a pretty big change!

I can't wait to get the RPF1's on. They're over 6lbs lighter per wheel than the stock wheels I have on now. The 9" ones have the nice flat/concave face too.

I was peaking around 22psi. I did 390WHP on a Mustang. Probably would have been low 400's on a Dynojet.

Oh man! You really pushed it, that's awesome! I read that the piston #2 cracked or something, how where the rods? Also, we're you running 91oct before the build or e85?

Yes, it cracked a piston. It lasted several month before it failed. I was running E85 with no knock at all. RSutton ran a similar setup at around 400WHP on pump gas for about twice that long before he cracked a piston.

Yes, I got mine in Amazon. Their prices are generally the best and I have Prime so it's free shipping. There are certain colors only sold at certain places but you'll pay $50-100 more than you would at Amazon.

Yes, it is far too easy. Especially with one click and the phone app, haha! I actually find myself being like on South Park, where I get package and don't remember what it is (not the part about doing things with the delivery guy).

They aren't hubcentric are they? That's one of the nice thing about the mac v awesome wheels (5x100 single drilled 18x9.5)

I don't like that the Mach V's are double-drilled, single set looks cleaner. That said, they seem like a good value altogether, I've nearly bought a set about a dozen times, but I figured I'll wait for xluben to cycle through a few sets so I can get more solid comparative data before I buy.

Nope, I have the rings (as seen in the photos). It's kind of a trade off. The 17" Mach V wheels are dual drilled (can be good or bad) and hubcentric. The 18" Mach V wheels are single drill and only hubcentric for 5x100. The RPF1's are single drill, not hubcentric, BUT they're way lighter than either of the Mach V wheels.

Yeah, probably April or May depending on the weather. They're super light. Just lifting them it doesn't even feel real. Haha. I've heard of some breaking, but many are used as track wheels, so I should be OK.

The Mach V 17's try to cover all the bases, and they do a pretty good job at it. As for cycling through sets, I doubt I'd do more than 1 set per year so it could take a while...
