engine misfire, new injectors,plugs, filters, gaskets? - Page 2

Well finally got around to checking the plus and they were all around .22-.23 and now .28-.29, also cleaned at the coil pack connections and MAF sensor. Well see tomorrow on my way to work if it worked or not.

For future reference NGK 2667 are the iridium's to buy for the WRX. They are the "turbo gapped" BKR7EIX. Usually you can take them out of the box and just put them in. It doesn't hurt to measure though (with the wire loop gap tool, not the other gapping tools.)

If you buy a generic "BKR7EIX" plugs you'll almost always get the NA gapped plugs, which are no bueno. Even if you gap them, the ground strap is all messed up because they have to be bent so far.

I've had many misfire issues but i took it in and found it was a valve leak and that the valves needed to me machined. Just an idea hope it helps

It had been a few says now and so far no light. I talked to my family friend mechanic and he says if it happens again he is sure that it is the crank position sensor. So thankfully i have my sti which is a garage queen so i can pull it out of that and see if it fixes it without buying one. Fingers crossed!
