Default Tein super street question

My friend Upgraded his entire suspension on his car and hooked me up with his Tein super streets. They were used and my stock suspension wasn't in the best condition. I have a 2004 wrx and have been riding on these for over a year now just fine and the other day i started to hear a knocking every time i hit a bump or as it seemed every time the driver side rear wheel would spring back up. i just popped off the wheel and it was pretty messy. I'm having trouble trying to find which coils these are on the website?

my question is....im not sure if i should just buy a new shock or send it in to be repaired? Anyone else have something like this or similar happen?
i heard it could take forever to have fixed if its sent in? otherwise i could just swap out the spring and be on my way.

If you're going to send 1, send them all to be rebuilt.

You could remove it from the car, wind off the spring preload and push down on the damper and see if it returns. If it doesn't then it needs rebuilding but if it does it still may need rebuilding. Check if any fluid is leaking out too.
