Dang, Netflix Norway doesn't have it. Luckily I have a VPN to NYC available at my fingertips!

^^ Good find Sonny& Angela. Brilliant execution by a talented artist. Reminds me of the same thing Johnny Cash did with Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt". Take a great song, twist it up, make it your own.

Thanks. I've been listening to alot of different stuff lately. I'm excited about getting my hearing aids because they'll let me experience more of what I've been missing. This is another cover that blew my mind:

Me too. Been an NIN fan since I heard the Pretty Hate Machine album in high school in '89 (I'm old) and when I first heard the Cash version on KWHL I think it was (Cash on KWHL, whoda thunk it) I was sure they were just two songs that sounded the same. But the words were the same too, it IS the same song, confusion. I was impressed actually once I gave it another listen. Now I think I like Cash version better than the NIN version.

All this talk of NIN has me nostalgic. Full 2010 Remaster of Pretty Hate Machine. So many memories, spring and summer 1990, my '79 Ford Bronco jacked up with 35" BF Goodrich MT's... hey, don't laugh, in 1989/90 in high school if you had 35's you were pretty cool! anyway, parked out in the back of the high school parking lot, pretty girls and the Bronco, both with tops off... Chillin with friends, smoking uhhh... ummm.. cigarettes... yeah, that's the ticket! This album blasting out of the Kraco! hah, Kraco! Ah, sometimes I wonder what I would give to go back to those days!

Anyway, the album! Awesome, remastered, I had no idea! (ignore the stupid gameplay in the video, I have minimized the video, listening only)

Yup, similar memories. Cruising through the parks and such.

I was always rocking NIN before they become "popular". Actually I believe they called them "alternative" back then. Typically rocked out to NIN, Beastie boys or House of Pain back then. Thumpin my 12" MTX, ooooh yeah. Hahaha.

Nice, I haven't updated my soundclick in years, switched to soundcloud a few years back. I'll check it out

Oh, btw:
My djcracka.com site is undergoing a facelift since I let the hosting lapse and lost the entire WordPress DB and ftp directories.

Check out "shine" "glow" and "green" those are my favorite. Also "backyard breaks" and "near your energy"

Always love talking to fellow local artists

I've been on hiatus since early last year, 2012 was insane for me so it was hard to find inspiration... I agree though, music has been a huge creative outlet for me since I started my self-taught productions in 1997

Also, if you're looking for more chilled instrumental hip-hop check these guys out:

Aether
Blockhead
Gramatik
Emancipation
Woodkid
Bonobo
Dj shadow (of course! Haha)
The avalanches

Just off the top of my head...
