Does anyone have the specs on the ej207s the JDM WRX's used from 99-01? From everything I found, while the rest of world used ej205's(aussies, uk, etc.), the JDM WRX had a ej207 during those years.

not always true..returned from okinawa this past august.
I saw bugeyes with ej205 with avcs. how did i know it was a 205? the vin tag had 205 stamped on it along with engine code sticker on the front timing cover. |

Thanks for that bit of info. It seems theres a boatload of info on each sti iteration, but a lack-there-of on the WRX's. |

So you are looking for info on the V6 EJ207? The bottom end is similar to the later models and the heads are I believe big port with no AVCS.
For jaxscuby, The JDM 205 had AVCS so that is nothing new and it was not a 207(no semi-closed deck) |
