Default 06 wrx starting/running issue

Started a month ago.. Made my long commute to work, turned the car off, then turned it back on to move to another parking spot. When I turned it on it sounded like I had a cat back exhaust coming from below the dash. (Car is completely Stock) I got out of the car and could not hear the sound I was hearing. This sound went on and off for days (car still ran perfect) until it finally would not start. I turned the key off then on then off and turned it over and it would start. Eventually I noticed if the fuel pump made a high pitch whine, the car would not start. If it made a low pitch whine, the car would start. After a few weeks of dealing with this it finally wouldn't start at all. Fuel pump continually made high pitch sound.

Fast forward to today. Replaced fuel pump, car started fine, no weird sounds, no issues. Drove the car for a test drive, stopped at Advance (they are used to cars staying over night) and car went back to not starting. Ran codes (check engine light was not on ever been on) said miss fire #1&#3 cyl. Tried for ten minutes turning the key off and on cycling the fuel pump and trying to start; would not start. I finally remembered I left all my tools in the car. I pulled the fuel line going to the motor off at the fuel pump and it was still pressurized. After releasing the pressure, the car started. All though, this time the check engine light came on and car ran rough as hell. If I didn't keep my foot on the gas it would die. Got it home, car starts... occasionally, and if I don't keep some throttle it dies. The entire time the fuel pump is running. Out of the million times I started it only once, it started and idled fine/revved fine only after I could no longer hear the fuel pump.

Which brings me to this post, sorry for it being so long winded but I hope someone on hear has seen/heard of this happening before. Searching never prompted any results. Thanks in advance.
