Hi, can somebody tell me if this is what I want to get if I want to make my eyebrow and front side marker light brighter?

And also the license plate lights? (they're all the same, right?)

http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...ase-tower/397/

And also, is this what I want if I want brighter reverse lights?

Those look ok, but for a few dollars more, you can get THESE (first ones on the page). They're 12 watt instead of 7 and have LEDs on the sides so light also reflects off of the inner tail lamp housing.

Wow $50 +s&h for 2 light bulbs, LEDs at that. You guys cray cray.

For that money id stick with stock.

i pm'd him and posted in his thread so i'm just waiting for a reply.

Yea, its not impossible but the light is all the way in the corner where its not hand-sized.

That guy took his lights out for the retrofit which is when would be the smartest time to swap bulbs.

I already have the led bulbs for the eyebrows, and i have yellow overlays/bulbs for fogs. I was going to remove front bumper to make easier intalls, hopefully that will make it easier to reach eyebrows from underneath.

Getting tint on my Impreza today. Works out nice since I'm doing it through the company that does our dealership's tint/paint protection/undercoatings/etc so it'll be done by the afternoon.

Mine is an ISM base model 5-door. I've got '11 WRX wheels on it, blacked-out grille wings, upgraded front and rear swaybars, K&N air filter, and a Pioneer audio system with AppRadio headunit. (Picture) It's needed a tint job for awhile!

you have one i take it? what mileage are you getting out of it and what are the driving distances and times you've taken it? ive been trying to get the best i can get out of it, slow start to steady speeds if on highway without speeding. mileage isnt so great, if not its worse for me.

sorry to take into a mazda 3 discussion, 53x12 insists that mazda 3 has better mileage than our car which i sorely disagree. (trust me, im a first time subbie guy and i ok with our mileage but not thrilled compared to my previous car). i compare my mazda 3 rental experience with the reminder that its a 2 wheel drive car compared to our AWD, with that in mind, subaru mpg is way better.

Does the rental Mazda have the Skyactiv engine? If not, then yeah, those Mazda3's got crappy fuel economy.

Nope I have a '12 Impreza Sport if you look to the left at my profile. My brother has the '12 Mazda 3 Touring. He regularly averages a good 33-36 mpg per tank.

It isn't me that is disagreeing with you. It is the data. Go to Fuelly.com and take a look yourself. Take a look at close to 2,000,000 miles driven to give you an idea. The Mazda 3 with the Skyactiv engine is no joke. No matter which way you slice it, comparing mpg with a Mazda 3 Skyactiv >>>> than our Subaru Impreza. There are many other reasons to pick an Impreza over the Mazda 3, but when it comes to fuel economy the Mazda 3 has us beat. SorryBlackmamba24kb, your experience just doesn't follow real world use.

I love my K&N. Got it on sale at a local auto parts store, too! While the '12 Impreza isn't a performance beast, you can still feel the improvement when you add it.

+1 for the Fumoto Valvle!!! no hassle, no mess!

btw: 8000 odometer miles on this oil, 8232 adjust for odometer error, added .7 total qts up through 3800 miles and none after. drained 5.3 qts out, so I either overfilled (which I think i did the last time I added oil) but either way only .7qts used on this change. no complaints from this guy!

^^ Awesome! I look forward to your data. What brand of oil was it again? And how many miles do you have on your car?

Amsoil Signature, 14K total on the car

I'm thinking it will come back good, and when I am at 52.5K i will switch back to it, and run it for 15K+ intervals

btw: going to go work on the leds now as I wait for my Amsoil OE to be delivered

^^ Did you pay extra to get the TBN number from your analysis? I would hope, with 8k miles on the Signature oil, that the TBN would still be very good.

I have to agree. Coming from a track prepped 11 Civic Si, the 2.0 Subie with CVT is pretty slow. Put on my K&N today before work, and the car did seem a little more responsive. Can't complain!

i checked the box

an observation i made today is OE/XL are very different animals from Signature. I had 1 qt of Signature left so this oil change is 1 qt Signature, 4.3qts OE. very different colors, and Signature poured a little faster.

time to go start speakers and do my LED's

Also for those of you who had the aftermarket rear sway bar on for a while, have you inspected the bottom end link on each side to see if anything is okay? The reason I'm asking is because I had a Progress 22mm rear swaybar installed on my Civic and it came with "optional" support brackets, which I used. Even with the extra support, I could see the original bracket and the support brackets that connects to the endlink had twisted. Some people on the Civic forum that didn't install the support bracket reported their original brackets snapping off. I took the swaybar off after about 30 days and put the original back on. The bigger swaybar was a big improvement but the other original parts on the car couldn't handle it. A 19mm was available and might have been better but I never got the chance to find out since I traded the Civic to get this. I'd like to upgrade the swaybar but I'm kinda hesitant.

these are my 2 endlinks, I have 10k on this 19mm swaybar now, and they look like brand new still. they are definitely steel.
