We have bought up more 2004 cores. We now have 2004 and 2005-07 cores in stock!

Don't forget that you can bundle this service with any Swift spring kit.

I'm interested in this but I have a few questions first. I already have the Prodrive struts and springs on my STI. They're better than stock but still a bit rough on less than perfect roads and especially harsh during the winter. Will I see a marked improvement from this setup? What I want is a more euro ride; comfortable but controlled.

I didn't think prodrive made struts for GD STIs... are they bilsteins?

Yes, valved to Prodrive's specifications.

We can revalve them but since these are not KYB USDM struts, the pricing is different. It would cost $150 per corner to revalve.

We would test them on the dyno before working on them to determine what is causing a harsh ride. Then we would test after revalving to ensure we reached our damping goal.

I should have been more clear. I'd be interested in getting a set of STi takeoffs and getting them revalved. I'm just not sure whether these will be a marked improvement in ride quality/comfort.

the bilsteins are better dampers... I'd just have Odi revalve them instead.

I would not label the bilsteins as better. I have seen KYB seals and chrome surfaces last longer. The damping profile can be changed on either virtually without limitation.

To answer your question; I think you will find a set of revalved STI struts to perform well. I would have to dyno test your Bilstein's to give you a break down of how the ride will differ.

Do you guys valve GD STI struts with RCE yellows differently (than the sedan), if they were going on a GD Wagon?

We valve all GD chassis with RCE yellows and blacks the same unless you have a special request. If you would like more compression damping force for the rear, we can do that no prob.

Odi, I've been on the fence for awhile now and would like some input from you. I'm trying to match a set of springs and struts to be aggressive as possible for Tarmac hill climb duties. I've procured a set of 4 way adjustable my02 sti spec c type RA struts and after a lot of research have decided upon using the jdm sti springs "tuned by arai" however I'm not sure if the struts can be rebuilt or not, there is a lot of corrosion on the bottom of the strut where the adjustment knob is. I've attached pictures that may give you a better idea, I've also attached a few pictures of the condition of these struts. Thanks in advance, Matthew Waldo

The bodies can be cleaned and repainted. I would check the chrome surface of the inserts to make sure they are not rusted. I would even remove the inserts to inspect the areas that you cannot see. Or you can ship them to us and we will inspect them.

You can now make an appointment to drive your STI in for the Revalve Service. We will remove the struts, perform the Revalve Service, and re install them same day.

Please call or email us to make an appointment.

Brought my car in a few days ago and had my stock struts revalved to tarmac spec with stock springs. My car feels more balanced and planted. Overall ride quality improved, especially with the rear clunk gone. They had my car in and out within 4 hours. Definitely picking up FEAL coilovers when the time comes. Thanks for the work Odi!

Whoa! We have been slammed with this service. We have also been receiving some kind emails from happy customers. Here is the latest one:

[FONT='Times New Roman','serif']Hey Odi, I just wanted to check back in with you since the revalve. I've driven the car nearly 4k miles since installing your improved struts and I have to say, I'm fully impressed. I did no other suspension mods when installing the revalved struts so that I could make a true assessment of the differences made through improved damping and it was impressive to find out just how much traction I was losing on rough backroads with the OEM damper specs. The car's stability over pavement patches, potholes, and any other sub-ideal surface has increased tremendously and my confidence and pace have also been upped to match.

Overall, fantastic work, and great service. Couldn't be happier.

For the 08+ STI, we supply a new rear shock (stock one is non rebuildable), and revalve the front dampers. The total cost is $785. You must send in your stock front dampers for the service.
