Hope your tires are pretty low mileage or the shop can shave it if you're just replacing one.

Im a new owner of a 2013 PBP WRX Hatch. *Really* loving this car. Ive seen alot of other WRX/STi owners around and each and everyone of them have waved as we passed on the road.

I didnt expect to be in a club, but this car is giving all sorts of good surprises.

Hey Newb here. I have been a lurker for a while now.

I Have a 2010 Legacy 2.5i and placed an order for a 2013 5dr WRX in Satin White Pearl on monday. The anticipation will kill me.

Here are some pics of my Legacy. The Legacy is the worst rallyx car ever. Only did one rallyx and was done.

Did you get it from Byers in Dublin?

I just heard from them that someone just ordered a 2013 WRX in SWP, but they don't expect to get anything in until April/May!

That's about right. Most people see 12 weeks unless they get lucky and there's one in the pipeline. Usually 16 weeks with nav. I just ordered mine from hatfield and they said about 12 weeks.

Anybody in the columbus area have a homemade boost leak tester/finder? That wouldnt mind helping me out.. lol. I believe I have a boost leak in my 02 wrx and don't know enough about subaru engine yet to jump in and start tinkering.

Well I have oem gauges and the boost is measured in mpa. Its only reaching .06 mpa at full throttle and in gears 2-5 at full throttle my gauge is showing that I'm building boost and then it drops. Up and down pretty rapidly. I know its not just the gauge because I can feel the car accelerate when building boost then is kinda dies down then accelerates again..

If you are peaking at .06 that is wastegate pressure which means something is wrong fo sho. If you are on an oem turbo inlet check for rips or holes on the underside (common in oem inlets), check all vacuum lines around your ebcs and mbc (not sure what your running), and make sure your wastegate is properly tightened. You can let the car idle and spray around the vacuum lines with carb cleaner...if idle rises when you hit a spot you've found your leak.

To me it sounds like a hose popped off completely somewhere and is forcing the car to wastegate pressure and then that leak is causing rapid boost, or some form of boost control has failed completely (ebcs or mbc). Hope this helps. Do some research there are a ton of threads with similar problems that have been resolved.
