Sorry If I already missed it but...is your car AWD? I know AWD was standard from 97...
btw, great pick up for <$500. wouldn't mind me one of those for that price either. |

You should replace the rear wiper with a Honda rear wiper. I used one from a '08 Pilot and it works far better than the original wiper.

well spring is only a few weeks away and my wintertires havn't seen any snowstorms, ohwell i have them for next year!
i've been looking for some alloys with some half decent tires on them instead of buying 4 brand new tires for the rusty rims which came with my car i recently found some 205/55/16 with 60% tread left for $250 ![]() i think they'll look pretty decent, but i'm pretty sure the profile of the tire is just a BIT too big, i'm going to check them out monday or tuesday and take some meausrements etc ![]() |

alright so i went to checkout the rims and they look pretty decent, lots of tire/rim for $250. ive read that they WILL fit my 1.8slow but will bog it down.
my question: who thinks its worth buying the rims and run the bigger slower tires till they need to be replaced then replacing with a closer fit to stock? like 195/50 16 any risk of damage on highway or short trips in town with oversized tires? i guess im just paranoid about my "new" car almost being on the road. ![]() ![]() |

thankgod for napa, they make these premade flanges (both sides) with spring bolts and gasket included for $40. i also got a section of pipe to go in the place of the rear cat.... i never realized that i only have a front cat and the crappy welded pipe is where the second one should be.

got it welded and fitted, the spring bolts that came with it didn't seal the exhaust good enough, might buy the replacement cat later, but for now i've got 2 carriage bolts holding the cat to the mid for safety check.
![]() im uploading a video of the exhaust.. it sounds... AWESOME ![]() |
