Yesterday saw an 11+ WRB wagon driving on unplowed roads in Waltham. Gave you a wave when you busted out a nice fishtail turning right then left at the light. Wish I could've followed but I had to go the other way...

04-05 black wrx flaps straight pipe exhaust at Lowell train station. Things so loud, I've been pulled over twice in Lowell and my cars half as loud. Tell me your secrets? Military plate maybe??

Saw a blue hatch WRX on route 16 west bound in Medford. Not sure what year though as I'm still new to this whole Subaru thing. I want to say it was a 2010 maybe 11'? not sure though.

Electric cut out is the way to go. Straight pipe noise when you want it then just flip a switch if ya want to stay under the radar.

Yep. Believe me when I say you don't want to daily drive a car with a 3" straight through exhaust.

No, def not. It's cool once in a while to open it up and make all sorts of noise... but not something you wanna live with all day every day.

Unfamiliar with this? Will this still be as effective for air flow when quiet as opposed to open? Any info threads on this so I can read up?

No it will definitely be more restrictive when it's closed compared to open. The cut out isn't designed to make noise, it's designed to reduce exhaust path, in turn increasing power. If you search there should be plenty of info on it.

Just spotted by tedeschi on north main st leominster blue wagon with busted tail light. Other then that the car looked and sounded awesome.

Hahaha it's just a mask held on by the straps. Halloween gift and I just never took it off. What exhaust you have?
