Default radiator help 02 wrx mishimoto fit my 05 STi?

so my buddy has a 02 WRX. Will his mishimoto radiator fit in my 05 STi? the next question is he has a blown head gasket and was dumping a bunch of head gasket repair into his radiator/motor is that stuff going to stay in the radiator or will I be able to flush all traces of that out because I do not want that junk in my STi. he's going to give it to me so I want to make sure before I go tearing my car apart/if its even going to fit any help would be appreciated guys thank you

You can run the 02/03 radiator but it doesn't have a cap, so you would have to fill it through the turbo coolant reservoir.

Mine had a cap? It was completely garbage, but it had one.

I'd suggest picking up a different cap if you go this route.

Take it to a shop and have it hot flushed. You won't be able to get it clean yourself.

You had the correct years, which did not include the cap. The bugeye owner must have converted to a newer style radiator (04-07) with the cap.
