Default Left HID light doesn't work (2004 STI)

It's the stock HIDs by the way. What happened was, I was driving one day when suddenly the plastic guard under the bumper came loose and started scraping against the ground in mid-drive. Before I could stop, it caught onto the pavement and broke off.

Since then my left HID does not want to work. It's not the bulb or any connections on the bulb as I've swapped the bulb. I'm not electronically savvy so I don't know what type of connections would impact my left HID to go out. Are there any wires underneath the bumper?

When I turn on my HIDs, my right one works perfectly, and the left one turns ON for a split second and then shuts off for good, leaving me with one light. I just want to know what it could be?

eBay, Matsu****a Gen3 ballast. (The censored word is the one that means poop and rhymes with hit)

They're used on many Infiniti and Nissan vehicles so that's what your search may turn up.

Google for instructions on replacement

Thanks guys, is it possible that it could be a wire that broke or came unplugged under the bumper though? I don't want to pay 100 bucks without knowing if that's the problem or not. It went out after the bottom piece under the bumper broke off so i'm thinking something could've went unplugged or broken off some type of wiring under there. I'm not too sure who I could bring it to to check.
