Default RCE Yellows or JDM Pinks?

Im looking to get some new springs to go along with a set of struts are going to be revalved by Feal for my 05 STi. I realize that the yellows offer a harder ride than the Pinks, but is it unbearable and does anyone have any experience with this set up? Keep in mind that this is a weekend car with the occasional long distance run up to VT and I do not mind a harsh ride. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

i have yellows and konis and i love them i dont feel they are harsh at all. my konis are on soft right now, and i drive through downtown broken pavement all the time and it doesnt bother me. i do avoid pot holes now though bc they do slam into those now. the somewhat harder ride is worth it compared to how they make my car feel...

I have exactly what you are thinking of getting - Feal revalved struts with RCE yellows. The ride is in the damping and the Feals deliver. That being said, some bumps and manhole covers are not fun as Dm mentioned. I just picked up a set of S204 springs which are about the height of RCE Blacks but stiffer than Yellows in the front as I am looking to gain more travel from my current setup. On a side note, you WILL need at least a set of front GroupN tophats or WL Com-C's as my ride was unbearably bouncy with the stock 06 WRX tophats.
