Default which company should I buy from?

I am going to be buying a front clip to swap into my car, There are a bunch of companies i found through google, and the price variance is crazy. I'm looking for a version 7 or 8 sti whole front clip. The important part is the engine/trans/brakes/full suspension (mechanical) rather than the body pieces.

So i'm wondering who has bought a FRONT CLIP, NOT just an engine/trans, and where you got it from and your experience.

Another thing i want opinions on is how to choose a tuner. I'm in the tri-state area, and so far I'm leaning towards The Shop, CT. As of now, my build will be with a 2.5 block with forged internals, and I'm not sure about heads yet. The turbo I already have is a garret GT35r, and I have supporting mods (ECU, FMIC, injectors, FP, etc) So I am now looking for a tuner for some advice and see what they think on my ideas about my build.

Please feel free to leave some advice, anything I get is appreciated.

I'm asking a question to the "general community" about where i should buy a front clip, and how to choose a tuner. I think this is a good spot. If I'm wrong I'm sure mods will move it.

Whatever you do, make sure you go to extensive efforts not to support the vendors that help keep nasioc alive.

Posting in you local forum may give better results for finding a tuner since they all live in that region.

Phatbotti tuning works in your area. Give STI Mikey a try , u will be happy. He does Cobb or open source, do some research.

I would stray away from trying to give advice with the way you posted. "Dis" and "da?" really?

From what i have looked at not many companies on here sell front clips. I tried one and I ended up getting a car with 100k miles in stead of 100k kilometers. So it didn't work out too well. That's why i am asking for people who have bought previously.
I have seen some cars that STI mikey has done and I was thinking about him, i would just like to explore more than one option. Thanks everyone for the advice, I have some people i can research now.

Is anyone else confused?
FYI I did all my own tuning when I owned a Subie. I dont need to do research, I am not asking anything Not for nothing but when I have been around longer than 90% of the vendors here have been in business and have more Subie experience than probably at least 30% of them, I dont bother with them

Oh also the problem is that low mile front clips are next to impossible to get unless you import it yourself. Watch ebay (no seriously, that is your best bet) and read through the vendor forums. I know there is a nasioc vendor out of Canada that deals in JDM stuff a lot.

The shop ct amazing. I have had my car tuned there twice, the most recent time in January for an e85 tune. The Car ran absolutely perfect both times. I drove across the country to Colorado on the e85 tune without an issue. The car still runs great even at the high elevations out here vs. sea level at the shop. They are a good group of guys and definitely take pride in their work and make sure it's done right, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

You said ur getting a ver7 or ver8 front clip, but than you said ur build will be with a 2.5 block. So.... Which one is it, a 207 or a 257? Ver7&8 come with 207's so??? And if you do get a ver8 clip, why would you buy a Garrett, when you have a ihi vf37 twin scroll?!? Garretts are spendy, and since Ud have a fresh turbo to start with, I'd spend that money on a Apexi FC or sumthin! It just sounds like you don't have a clue what ur talking about. You said ur not sure about the heads yet? Uh, well... How bout the heads that come on the engine ur buying!?! And a 207 comes stock with forged internals..Lmao... It seriously just sounds like ur naming parts that you've heard of, but have no idea what they are or do. IDK... Just what it looks like to me, cuz nobody that knows about cars would say what uve said.
