Does anyone know of a local smog shop that can or will overlook a aftermarket catted DP?? I still have my stocker parts and used to swap them out for smog, but this year I went to a vf39 and don't want to swap out all my parts: DP, top mount and turbo to go back to stock map for test. I know it will pass the smog measurement test but will fail the visual (or so I'm told).. I have a 06 Wrx, vf39, 06 Sti top mount, Cobb cated turbo back.

Can anyone HELP!!??

Hey guys and gals I live in Alaska. I'm moving back to my home town. Bakersfield to be with my family. The Subaru community up here is pretty big. Looking forward to meeting some of you. I have a few question. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna run into some problems with smog when I come back. My car is an 05 Sti fully built and tuned by my self. Mod list 100mm mahle piston , Manley turbo tuff rods, 08 nitrated crank acl race bearings, bc 272 cams, bc +1mm intake and exhaust valves, bc springs and retainers,dw850cc injectors, tgv deletes Perrin gt3076r rotated kit .63 hot side snow watermeth amr top mount, tuned with rom raider. Exhaust is full 3 inch catted. We have no smog up here. So anything goes. So any input would be helpful feel free to pm me. Thanks for your time

Hey hows it going! Sounds like a nice set up. I set up the meets now in town, its no longer Subaru only, its a mix between subies, evos, Euros and a few Misc. PM me your number and Facebook info if you want me to add you to our FB Group. When will you be back? As for smog i can ask around.

That's because sangera are a bunch of thieves. Shops in town are high priced for the job in general though. There are probably a few guys in town that will help you do it, if you are willing to do it yourself.

I just got my clutch job done at Transmission doctor on Rosedale. They are also Rally sports distributors and can get you anything on that site cheaper. I install a act hdss Clutch for $730. For labor only. Good place to good and good work

Awesome. I just sent him a message. Also, I am falling into the group of needing somewhere to look past emissions....my BRAT is far from CA passable. Any help on that would be greatly appreciated.
