uh. the 245's wont fit without a pull.

with that fitment and your obvious lack of a "clue", you bought the wrong wheels. do you want to look "cool" or do you want to have function?

Could use some help with some rims. I want to get 18x8.5 or 9.5 with a offset of 35 on a 2010 wrx. Going to lower soon on bc coilovers and won't mind rolling the fenders. Also help with a tire that's meaty but will fit.

not possible with that type of setup, with only a roll, on your body style.

What's the widest I can go on the rim then? Or what else will I have to do to fit that. Otherwise I was going to get ssr ms1 professors 18x9.5 43mm offset or 18x8 37mm. The shop I went to said a roll once lowered would work. Need more opinions from some actual subi guys

From what I've seen in various threads, with a +43, 255/35R18's and rolled fenders shouldn't be hard. You should look around and ask questions in the 08-10 wrx wheel fitment/picture threads.

the 12 impreza is supposed to have a wheel with +50 offset, according to tire rack. is +41 too far off the mark? im interested in these.

I have a 2013 WRX and am looking into the 17x9 Rota Grids +35 and would put my stock 235 40 17 tires on them. Would these fit without a fender roll? Wouldnt be a stupid stretch either correct? I am having a hard time figuring out if this would work or not. Any help is appreciated. I am looking for a more agressive fitment and may end up choosing a different size with a meatier tire like a 255. What would be optimal sizing if I could shove such a tire in without rolling?

Stock Suspension

I believe I answered my own question...Looks like I am going to go with Rota DPT 18x9.5 +38 with 255 40 18s for tires..Nice light weight wheel with a mean look. Anyone that would object to this? At stock ride height I should be able to get away without rolling the fenders. Sound about right?

Need a little help.
Car: 02 wrx sedan
suspension: tokico dspecs with rce yellows
wheel size: 17x9
tire: nitto NT05 255/40/17
will be rolling front/rear

Currently, the wheels I'm looking at have an offset of +38. I would prefer something in the 40-44 range, but so far I haven't found a style I like. I realize asking if just a roll would work would be purely speculation (unless someone has experience with this setup). However, summer is slowly approaching, and I would like to have things ready to go when the weather turns good. Would this wheel be ok without a pull, or should I keep searching?

Does anyone know if the 17x9.5 +38 5x100 lug pattern will have any rubbing issues on an 04 wrx with a tire range of 255/40-35 or 245/40-35

Ok, so I've been reading some of the later pages with 12' info but no one posting much to what I'm looking for so hopefully someone will help me out. I'm NOT looking to roll fenders and I will be dropping my 13' sedan at some point (prob when wheels get installed) but def nothing aggressive at all...maybe 1" or so. I've read posts that state the 12' has a stock 50mm offset (not sure if right) which I'm sure also applies to the 13'. I'd like the wheels to be pretty much aligned (flush) with the top of the fender (not sides, obv that'll stick past fender a bit) but don't want the wheel to pass the top of the fender. So basically a semi aggressive offset. So with this info on the car, please help with the below. Thanks

18x8 = __ MAX offset?
18x8.5 = __ MAX offset?

I want to push them out a far as possible with no roll so please keep that in mind. Im thinking i want something around a 40mm to have them aligned (flush) with the top of the fender, but obv not sure and could use some help. Thanks again

Going to require a pull or at least -2.5* camber in the rear.

I see you have not done any research. The answer is yes, lots of rubbing without the proper modifications.

First, there's this thread that you should have read before posting: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2155863

Second, get the word aggressive out of your head because you don't want to roll your fenders. The wheel/tire won't even get close to "passing" the top of the fender.

Third, grab a ruler and measure how much clearance you currently have from tire to fender lip. Then use this: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp to calculate the lowest possible offset you can run without rubbing.

Fourth, I don't know where you got +50 offset from. the '11+ WRX wheels are 17x8 +53.

Fifth, forget the 18x8s.

I did answer your question, just not in the manner you wanted

Wanna know how I learned about all this ****? I searched and read then got my hands dirty.

Think of it this way: did you ask your teachers for the answer before even trying to solve the problem?

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Seriously, drop the idea of an 18x8. Look for 18x8.5 +48 +/-3.

What's the big disadvantage of an 18x8? Obv I know a wider tire can go on a 8.5 or 9. Anything besides that?

I just don't see any wheels I like at all in a 8.5 and 9 on websites. Just seems to be a lot more options in an 8"

Tire selection in 18x8 is extremely limiting to keep close to stock diameter.

17x8 or even 18x8.5 opens up tire options much more.

I am sellling some TSW wheels that are 18x8 with a 35 offset, I can't find anywhere that says if they clear Brembos or not?

You'll have to find someone with Brembos to test fit them. TSWs aren't very popular on here. Or you could take measurements.
