Like travis said its never been an issue with anyone's car that i have heard. besides, you think the coolant is going to be warm when you first start the car? its as cold as every other bit.

That's true on old cars that use a spring that is moved by the temperature of the coolant, but our new style IACV use an electronic motor, controlled by the ECU, using the coolant temp sensor as the gauge, to move the IACV. Removing the coolant from that whole assembly effects nothing. ![]() |

Pull the intercooler and both lines that go to and come from the throttle body are visible. One is on the drivers side, the other is in the middle of the block, and both are near the firewall side of the block.

Hey, new guy here. I just picked up a 2013 DGM 5 door in Ohio this Saturday. Long story short, I got caught in a snow storm in Ohio on the way back, and the car was sliding all over and uncontrollable, so I need snow tires for factory wheels, or all new snow tires and wheels.
So, anybody have any they want to part with? Or have a lead on a tire shop that could set me up without highway robbery involved? I could even use info about a decent place to buy a spare set of TPMS sensors. I used to work for Discount Tire but that was years ago, I have no idea if they are still legit or not. As a side note, the WRX has the SPT catback and I have Rally Armor flaps waiting to go on, so that will be me if I ever get the thing on the road and out of the driveway. I drive up and down the Beltline everyday, I think I have seen one other WRX only once, seems like there are not many in town. |

I have a set of tires and wheels if you want them. They are 7 Spoke ASA wheels, 18x8, wrapped in some fairly new (80% tread remaining) Michelin Pilot Alpine 225/40/18 tires. |

Also I have a general question. I recently took a gamble and picked up a set of original Leggeras. One has a crack about 3 inches long and needs some help. Does anyone know of a good shop that would be able to help with the rehab? |

You guys still haven't got that scaled? Maybe you should see if any one has a stock intake to borrow until you get it scaled, then you can see if there are any other issues with the car.

Near future is a relative term, but yes. I'll be in Missouri until late Sunday, so how about we shoot for some time early next week?

Thatd be awesome. Just tryin to cancel out as much as I can. After we do that if thats not it im guessing the iacv just needs to be replaced conpletely but the scaling needs to be done regardless so I greatly appreciate it
