Default perrin shifter bushings

Picked up a set of Perrin shifter bushings. The installation was not too bad. The old hard oem rubber bushing gave inter a nice serrated edged Kitcen knife. I then used a small pry bar against the shaft. It finally popped out . Getting the new shifter bushings on was a bit of a trial. The first one went on fine . The outside one refused to go on. I wiped of all the glue that perrin calls grease and lubed it up with wd 40. It slid on after some serious finessing. I then coated the outside off the bushing that goes against the big washer with more of the glue/grease. I would not put that nasty stuff on before Installed the outside bushing next time, it made things very sticky and stubborn. I took it out for a test drive ans wow what a difference it made . shifting was much tighter and much of the sloppiness was gone. I highly recommend these bushings and would buy them again
