Default Wont start after Unmarrying AP

03 wrx, flashed "revert to stock", after that completed I replugged it in just to make sure it unmarried successfully which it did because it prompted me to pick a new map to flash car with.

This is a accessport v1 btw

So then I unplugged the green connects & removed the white transparent plug. Turned the key to "ON", and the fuel pump didn't even turn on. Car turns over but keeps cranking. Can someone please help me I have work tomorrow.

Thanks in advance!

How long did you crank it? Not uncommon to take a bit longer then normal to crank after flashing a new/different map. (yes this applies to unmarrying)

When this happens to me I just give it about 10-15 seconds and turn it over again...are you concerned about it because it happens frequently or you literally can't start it after letting some time pass

Try it again....Subarus are notorious for not liking hard ECU resets...happened to me several times. Put key in to ON position, let it sit for a few seconds turn the radio on to see if it comes on, wipers, etc., then crank her....you may have to give it a touch of gas as well, not like a 72 Nova, just a 1/2 pump or two.

You must have had one of those cars in a cold climate too. Get in, floor it for 2 seconds, ignition on, hold gas pedal half way down start car for 5 seconds, hold gas all the way down for 3 seconds, start it again and when it fires up, judiciously give it gas so it doesn't die but won't wake up the neighbors for 2 minutes until it will idle like hell but not die. Scrap entire car if on time, if late, scrap one horizontal line across the windscreen la Nazi headlight covers, and cautiously drive to work/school.

Did I just type all that mess?

You really are old school, Ron.

I did all that except when my van started to sputter going up the street (costs money to idle and a 340 with a sticking valve doesn't do well with gas as it is and gas was almost 50 cents a gallon!), I'd pull the engine cover off while moving, spin off the air cleaner and put my finger in to move the choke. Automatic choke, my butt.

did you try reflashing to a cobb map. I would try that to see if it starts with a cobb map.

Genius! That was my question. Have you flashed to any other maps and had success?
