Default Need an honest opinion on rotors

So apparently the brakes have never been changed in my 07 2.5i when I bought it used, and at my last oil change I was told I had about 2mm left on the rear. That was 2000 miles ago and I can hear it and feel it know. The guy who said he "specialized in Subarus" looked at my car, then asked me if it was a 4 or a 6 cylinder, which if he was specialized I thought he might already have known by looking at it..anyways, he said it would be $260 dollars just to do the rear brakes in my car. I figured that was a bit high and I could get a better price buying the parts online and doing myself. So I found these rotors and would like to know what you guys think. I'm doing all 4 with some good pads too and am in search of rotors slightly stylish and slightly above the quality of what I might get walking into an autozone. Thanks

d00000000000000d.....post up in your local area forum for somebody to help ya
fill out yer profile so we know what car ya got and where you are

you could buy all the parts ya need from Ken and knsbrakes.com.....one of our vendors, here....and get the brakes done for the price of pizza and beer

and dont go back to the idiot who didnt know it was a 4cyl... you could do all the brakes for $300ish

you dont want anything but plain, regular rotors.....waste of time

I appreciate the info, as for my profile everything I do ion here s through the iPhone app and I don't believe there's much profile editing options, I'm without a computer at the moment. By plain I assume you mean just flat surfaces and not slotted but any particular brands I should be avoiding?

If you drive an Impreza, I wouldn't go back to a guy that didn't know whether it was a 4 or 6.

Heck, if you drive a Legacy, I wouldn't go back. It's fairly obvious when you have a Subaru with 6 cylinders.

Haha yeah I thought of that right after he said it, I had thought there was only a handful of 6 cylinder subarus so I assumed he wasn't much of an expert if he couldn't tell by looking at it. One more oil change there then I get a freebie, hoping to switch to synthetic and start doing it myself.

Just ordered a Centric premium set from KNS, they were very helpful in assisting me on what was best for my car and my daily use. Thanks everyone for your insight!
