Default car show around seattle questions, please read!

myself a few of my associates and a event production team were interested in throwing a performance import car show. we have lots and lots of big ideas, to make this more into an event as opposed to a show. but we are sort of at a loss with some issues, because we have never done this before. and we would love some feed back on a few of these questions!

where are meets/shows a lot around the Seattle area?

where is the scene generally at?

what would be a normal price for entry into the contest?

what are some other car clubs that we might talk to get the word out a little more? jdm? euro?

what categories would you like to see in the contest?

our idea is do try get sponsored by local tuning/performance shops, and choose one employee to be a judge at our event. this among many other things, any names or links anyone can throw at me?

any other random feedback/do's & donts' would be much appreciated!

thank you!

First and foremost I'm not trying to be a jerk. This is just my $.02.
Maybe before trying to host a meet or show you might try and attend a few. It would answer most of these general questions.

Your asking questions that could be researched in a couple hours. But I agree with tobigforhisshoes that you need to know what other events already go on every year, attend them and that will help you decide when, where and what you want to do at yours. Do you have a location planned? A time frame? Glad to help but you should know those answers if you are serious in putting on of these things on.
