e85 > meth, you dont have to worry about uneven cylinder distribution or meth system failure. and e85 provides better cooling, power, lower egts, and knock protection than a single nozzle of meth. and meth runs out super fast on small turbos since you are into the meth activation point with barely any throttle input.
Sweet deal, e85 it is then.

My D25 heads along with higher compression pistons are great with E85 but also great with pump gas! I recorded 25mpg on a 900 mile trip traveling at 80ish mph on mostly interstate highway driving!

Someone school me please. I'm moving to Cali this Friday and wanna tune for e85 but completely new to the subject.

I'm running DW 850cc injectors and a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Will these support e85 or no? I'm guessing I'll need aftermarket fuel rails? Anything else to replace/install when going e85? All help is appreciated.

2.5 what turbo are you trying to feed? Stock fuel rails should be fine.

I'm running an FP 18g with the listed mods above. Will I be alright or should I upgrade to anything?

You should be able to get over 300 whp easy. I am running an 18g, 38mm ewg, ID 1000cc, process west tmic and getting 330 on a conservative tune.

I'm sure this has already been answered in this thread, but forgive me for not wanting to read thru all 281 pages. For the guys running 100% E85 on built motors, what is the typical life expentacy of these motors? I'm strongly considering going to 100% E85 when I build my motor, but its going to be my DD for awhile and I really need it to last me around 50k miles otherwise I'll probably have to stick with just pump gas.

Your fuel choice isn't going to be the determining factor in engine longevity. It's going to be the quality of the engine build and how well the car is tuned and then maintained.

I don't think that a properly built ethanol motor has any less life expectancy than a gas engine.

If its tuned and maintained optimally, I'd bet the e85 engine which burns cooler and cleaner would actually last longer.

Ok thank you for the response. I had been told before that running only E85 shortens the life of your motor, but if that's not correct then yay for me lol. And yea I know the build quality and tune quality are everything. Now I guess I just gotta find somebody in my area who knows how to tune on E85. Thanks again

Edit: thanks for the response too maxpowr

Where'd ya hear that? The internet?

A lot of the local Subarus have been on E85 for around a year since people started to switch around here. I've got 12,000 miles on E85 personally. There are people that have been running E85 for much longer than this as well. A few of us have been doing Blackstone oil analysis' and the results seem to indicate that oil breaks down just slightly faster when running E85. Most of us run Rotella T6 at 2000 - 3000 mile intervals depending on usage.
