I had a Tacoma that I wrapped that area with neoprene to match my seat covers once.

Had to take the door panel off, and melt the little plastic 'welds' with a dremel to get it off, then used rubber cement to join the fabric to the area and secured with little flat head screws from lowe's making sure to not poke out the front.

made the interior feel finished. good luck

Seeing as most people never buy any bits or cutters beyond what came with the original Dremel and given that the Dremel burrs are not made from the higher grades of steel, all usage after the first month is "melting".

Melting caused by friction of the dulled and peened-over cutting edges on the burrs.

Just wondering are you going to leather wrap your seats too or put leather seat covers on them to make them match?

I've been wanting to wrap that piece in alacantara to match a jpm coachworks shifter and ebrake boot.

After seeing pics of the inner side of the door card, I don't think that piece comes off. You would have to mask it out with tape and paper and use a spray adhesive to coat and then apply your material.

I am scared to do it, but I think it would be pretty sweet once it is done.

Two. Pull the lower section of the card away from the door, then lift up and out.

Anyone have any diagrams to share? Would really help this thread. Also, part numbers for plastic clips and the like...so we can be ready for the worst.

thanks
