I'm one of the 4 registered and planning to run, but I've just started on a coilover setup last week. To top it off, I'm out of the country until March 10th, so if anything does not stay on plan, then I may have to jump into another car/class.

That is pretty strait forward though. I know a few guys myself that are running the 17x9.5" +38 RPF1 on fixed perch strut GD WRX's/STi's with no problems. They fit quite well and don't rub with 245's and 255's (normal rear camber too).

Other than the 3-5mm spacer up front, the rear just needs a roll and stiffer than stock springs to avoid rubbing depending on your tire size. With our 245 limit in STU, rubbing isn't a problem for even the lowest of cars with a fair spring rate in the back. Normal rear camber (-1.5 to -2.0) is fine as well.

That will be fine. We will discuss your setup and fitment further via PM.

You should definitely run your STi. We will be on a new suspension setup as well and will not have much time if at all to test beforehand.

Should be a fun weekend. Wilmington is the best site I've ever been to. It is 2 or 3 times larger than Toledo's site!

I'm looking forward to it!

PS - Anyone considering the NJ Pro should register before it fills up (likely today)!

Already signed up, looks like STU has 4 so far. Come on kids, let's get a full class!

We should be okay. Though, if the clutch goes, I think I will pass on the DC Pro

Pretty shocked that STU > STX.

I need to get some anti-BFG stickers made before then though

Looks like we will have a great class at the Wilmington Match Tour in STU. Beyond psyched.

I'm actually half tempted to go. Anyone need a roommate?

I forget, is it concrete or asphalt?

The pad we will be on for the Tour is concrete. They actually have an asphalt area used for smaller local region events as well.

Sounds like it might be a good site to do some preliminary BFG vs. Dunlop testing on concrete. Hmm...

Definitely a good site. Probably a decent drive for you, but not horrible I guess compared to Blythville or Lincoln.

Wilmington: (paddock area for Tour's is the area the local region uses for smaller events and can still produce 60-70 second courses...)

Looks like about 8 hours, not that bad at all. Fairly easy drive for a Tour...and might be worth it for the two free BFG's.

Match tour though... so there is some PAX involved. Not great for a street tire car on concrete, at least in terms of the challenge. But as long as the class is fun. Hrm.

There's also a Hershey double that weekend.

You get tires for a class win I believe, so PAX is irrelevant when it comes to the contingency. I agree, I would prefer it to be an NT, but it still might be worth it. If I don't go, you'll likely see me at Hershey.

STU currently has 7 competitors. I'm guessing that Shane won't go, so let me know if you want to co-drive John...would be an easier early season trip than Dixie was last year.

And I'm kind of lazy and have a poor memory: did the Killer B oil pickup definitively become legal for this season? If so, I'll be installing mine soon. Thanks.

I remember that they could be, but I seem to remember that the initial wording would have made the Killer B illegal due to the pickup location or something?

I guess we could make a Wilmington Match Tour thread specifically, but once again I'm too lazy. Anyone have suggestions for hotels in the area? Looks like there's a good chance that Shane and I will be going out there.

The town of Wilmington itself isn't all that big. Everything is pretty close to the site so you should be fine with any decent hotels you find online.
