Default Coolant passage question

When rebuilding motor, when installing coolant passage hose, do I have to put any sealant on the two orings that sit on bottom of hose on top of block? If so what sealant? Thanx

First off don't bump the damn thread after 12 minutes. Secondly, you do not have to put anything on them but you can if you feel the need to.

No need. That's half the point of them using O-ring. Just make sure both surfaces are clean.
