OMGHi2U Timing belt tensioner differences between OLD vs NEW style

Hi, Im putting a ej205 block and ej20g heads together. From the information I been rathering, I should use the new style setup. I have comeplete setup for the old style but only tensioner for new style so I need the bracket and small idle pulley (PM me if you have them). I searched but didnt locate anything. I would like to know if there is any differences in the newer style compared to old style, particularly with how the timing belt tension. Does the newer style keep the timing belt tighter? I ask this because Im using ej205 head gaskets with ej20g heads (ej20g motor uses .4mm ish thicker head gaskets). I rather stick with the old setup if i can save money and no differences. Thanks for looking.

I've used both, some claim the older style are more stout, some say the other way.
But both are fine for a .4mm compensation.

You also don't technically need the small idler.
