I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about this.
You are correct. They have no end links

I will also have a stock 16mm RSB for sale by end of March (no endlinks). PM me if you will want one and want to make me an offer on it. Even better if you're in Boston or surrounding states.

(not to step on MACaMillion's toes. Go to him first).

Would someone mind explaining how to installed the RSB?

I have a base, so I have no bushing or end links or any of this. I was looking at the 19mm, as I do a lot of highway driving and wind kind of knocks the car around a bit.

And I have the hatch, if that affects the instructions.

I was just on eBay, and saw a 15k mile service kit that included the oil, oil filter, air filter, and Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-Impre...72b432&vxp=mtr

Is the PCV really something that gets replaced every 15k miles?

I am pretty sure if you buy it new from a reputable dealer like Perrin they will send you instructions for the install.

On other cars, I used to replace mine once a year. Air filter too. I guess that would be 15k miles for most drivers? Never really thought about it mileage-wise.

if I were gonna do the pcv I would do it at 30k when I am doing spark plugs, cleaning maf and throttle body, oil, tranny & diff, coolant, brake fluid, cleaning k&n. Apart from that 15k, nah.

You have the base, so it might be different, but others have said you're NOT supposed to use jacks, as you want weight on the wheels when installing the RSB

Guys, question for you..

So, today my area got hit with some of the snow attacking the north east. It was a very fat, thick snow. In terms of traction, the car was amazing. Never slipped or hesitated once. However, I did have two things I wanted to ask. Not really "concerns", but figured I'd ask..

1) The ABS on this car seems to be super touchy. Never noticed it before. It may have been the overly chunky snow, and/or the iffy-at-best stock Yoko's. But the car kept wanting to jut to a stop.

2) Seeing an opportunity, I pulled into an open parking lot (no one around, 2:30am..lol), tapped the traction off button, and attempted to fling the car around a few times. If I tried to mostly finagle it using the throttle, the car kept trying to self-countersteer. If I pulled the e-brake and let it carry it's self around, it'd slide, but then again self countersteer. This, again, was with the traction button pressed to off. Is this "normal"? I mean, of course the car being used for normal conditions and situations should be driving straight and not swinging around.. But I figured that by turning it off, most of the nanny stuff should be off. It was rather disappointing.

Again, not sure if it was just this thick snow or what. I've done a couple tiny swing arounds before and it's worked good. But trying to actually do it tonight didn't work out too well. Is there some kind of extra traction control thing or variation of VSC I'm missing? I'm used to poking the VSC button in my Si and it letting me do what I want..

In addition, is the touchy ABS mostly just the tires? I realize they're iffy tires, and narrow at that. Didn't really think snows are necessary in these cars for a couple inches of fat snow. lol Would even just a wider, better all season help?

For reference, the car is a 13 Sport with CVT and 2k on the clock, with stock tires.
It's the tires. My wife's Imp has winter tires and the ABS intervention is not frequent as a result. As for the traction control... well, the car is very good at keeping you straightened out, on or off.

If you need to install the rear sway bar and the bushings and endlinks I would find a friend who has some basic tools (like a jack and jackstands) to help you.

It can probably be done with the car on the ground, but most people doing that are probably just swapping out the sway bar that is on their car for a stiffer version and reusing parts from the old one.

To my fellow base models:

I purchased the oem rsb and endlinks here and just finished sourcing the other parts.
You will need the following: (prices are from local dealer, I will be checking Subaru Genuine Parts for a better deal)

Clamps Part# 20466fg000 (2) at 6.40 each
Bolts for Clamps #010108200 (4) at 4.18 each
Endlink Bolt # 901000360 (2) at 4.68 each
Endlink nut # 902370055 (2) at 2.05 each

Anyone have a DIY or a pic of under the car where you have to go to access the fog light bulb? I got my new ones in, and I'm doing those, my highs, and my HID lows tomorrow..

So Perrin would'nt price match their BRZ stubby antenna with the eBay seller who sells them new for the same price but with free shipping. (Perrin charges 7.00)

I tried to tell the live help that Jeff Perrin is my uncle... that didn't work. So I bailed on it.

Their website showed it was going to add the shipping when I purchased mine but didn't actually charge me when I finalized the order.

So I made some calls today using the hands free system and my new cp635u radio and everyone I talked to said I sounded clear even doing 70 mph. So with the same factory Mic/location there is definitely better circuitry in the actual head unit.

PCV isn't anywhere on the maintenance schedule, and the air filter replacement interval is 30K mi.
